Bomb threats against Atlanta-area polling places were from Russia, secretary of state says

Several non-credible bomb threats disrupted voting at twelve Georgia polling sites on Tuesday, with the source traced to Russia, according to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.

Although deemed non-viable, the threats led to temporary closures and extended voting hours at affected locations in Fulton, Gwinnett, and DeKalb counties.

Officials, including the FBI, emphasized that election integrity and public safety remain top priorities, CNN has reported.
