Improve Your Character = Save Yourself - (Life Lesson #2 From "Thanksgiving" [2023])

DISCLAIMER:
I watched this movie, not remembering how dark it was. But, remembering as little as I did, I actually skipped most of the "death scenes". (So yes, I'm the guy who watched a slasher movie and then skipped the "slasher" scenes... XD).
Anyway -
I only was reminded of truly how dark the film was as I was watching it.
So to reiterate:
I watched the movie for the story and entertainment (forgetting how dark it truly was). I therefore recommend that you do not watch this movie.

That said (as I mentioned in the video):
Since I did watch it, and did get some value out of it, I want to explain the lessons I learned so that you too can get something out of the movie without even having to watch it, yourself!

The main lesson from today's video:
As You Strive And Toil For Your Unique Life Goals,
May You Strive With Greater Adamancy And Determination To Do Good And To Improve Your Character. (For no one can take your character from you. Your body can be broken, your circumstances change, and your career change, but your choices and persistence in doing good are always your decision).

Thank you so much for watching!
I sincerely hope this helps you.

Relevant verses and quotes:
"Watch over your heart with all diligence, For from it flow the springs of life."
- Proverbs 4:23 NASB

("Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
- Proverbs 4:23 NIV)

"Do to others as you would have them do to you. "If you
love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even
sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to
those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even
sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you
expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners
lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love
your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without
expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be
great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he
is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as
your Father is merciful."
Luke 6:31-36

"I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”
- Etienne de Grellet [Quaker missionary]

"Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none."
- William Shakespeare

"Happy is the man who can make others better, not merely when he is in their company, but even when he is in their thoughts!"
- Seneca

"Every moment is a chance to live with integrity; act as if your every deed is being recorded for eternity."

"Do not act as if you were going to live ten
thousand years. Death hangs over you. While
you live, while it is in your power, be good."
- Marcus Aurelius
