As I spend more time around RPG creative types, a book that holds invaluable lessons for all of us (and indeed for anyone trying to improve themselves in a craft or profession) is one I picked up a long time ago, Role Playing Mastery. Written by Gary Gygax, this isn't a book about making the most bad ass player character at the table. This book is about elevating your involvement in the hobby, you becoming a master of role play gaming. There's a lot to learn here.
