November 5, 1986 - DePauw University's Ubben Lecture Series Begins with Address by Gov. Richard Lamm

"The miracles of modern medicine are simply outrunning the public's ability to pay for them," said Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm as he presented the inaugural Timothy and Sharon Ubben Lecture at DePauw University. "You can't afford to do everything to everybody," he continued. "So we have to make some decisions. I know that that's difficult, but I also know that it's possible."

Lamm addressed the topic, "Health Care in the Age of Technology" in a speech at Meharry Hall of historic East College.
