The Andaman Islands fall into the category of tropical islands due to their location near the equator, warm climate, and lush vegetation. Geographically, they are an archipelago made up of around 300 islands in the Bay of Bengal. Administratively, they are part of the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India.
