Uprising - Another Korean Winner From Netflix 🫰

Welcome to another of my Korean entertainment reviews. Today I take a look at Netflix movie "Uprising"

Uprising is a period action film starring Gang Dong-won (A Violent Prosecutor, Dr. Cheon and The Lost Talisman) and Park Jeong-min (Deliver Us From Evil, Smugglers) and written and produced by Park Chan-wook (Joint Security Agency, Oldboy, The Handmaiden).

Set in the late 16th century, during Korea’s Joseon Dynasty, Uprising follows the story of two friends. Jong-ryeo, the only son of the most powerful military family of the era, and Cheon-young, his manservant. Both characters come to a head when the Japanese begin to invade and colonise Joseon. King Seonjo flees to the north while the people of Joseon form a rebellion, including Cheon-young, which the king later calls traitors.
