Four Basic Fears

The enemy tries to trap us in four basic categories of fear. These are fear of man, fear of rejection, fear of failure, and fear of abandonment. These do not directly relate to other fears such as fear of snakes, spiders, heights, and so forth. However, if the roots of such fears are examined, they relate indirectly to the four basic fears.

God hates fear because it is a direct affront to who He is. There is no fear in God, nor in heaven, nor in anything God made available to us. Although we might be fearful, you are not fear, neither is it part of our nature.
