Did you know Halloween started over 2,000 years ago? It all began with an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain [pronounced ‘Sow-in’]. The Celts believed that on October 31st, the boundary between the living and the dead was at its thinnest. People would dress in animal skins and light massive bonfires to ward off wandering spirits. Scary, right? But that’s not all! Over time, the Christian tradition of All Hallows' Eve merged with Samhain. This is where the name Halloween comes from! Want the full story? Check out the complete video linked in the description! Stick around for Part 2 to find out how Halloween made its way to America and became the holiday we love today!
