Found A Ring! CKG Scoop - Beach & Water Metal Detecting - GoPro #beachmetaldetecting

Finally ordered & received my new CKG scoop & carbon fiber shaft. Already out of the box, it was noticeably of higher quality & lighter weight than my previous scoop. I quickly assembled it and took it for a test run at a local park & beach. I wanted to see how it handled in the beach sand and in the water. I expected to find pull tabs, bottle caps, and maybe some coins. I was a bit surprised when I found a ring! Woohoo! :) This scoop was MUCH light than I expected it to be. I was able to meet up with Jeff from Jeff's Obsessions (link below). I like to break things down a bit for those that are getting use to their metal detectors and signals, so you can see the VDI numbers and how that may indicate what target is below the surface, and what I find related to those numbers/tones.
