Lebanon FIGHT BACK As US Impose LETHAL New Restrictions!

Right, so US interference in Israel has been going on for several days now, after the Biden administration decided in their infinite lack of wisdom to send an Israeli who happens to work for them to Lebanon, to basically try and force them back in their box, but not before said US representative, Amos Hochstein, went to Tel Aviv first in what a cynic might consider, being given their orders and those orders basically amounted to the only ceasefire deal Israel and by extension the US would accept with Lebanon, would be their unconditional surrender and the surrender of their sovereignty, so Israel can occupy Southern Lebanon in total violation of UN Resolution 1701, which has kept the peace under its current form since 2006.
Well that didn’t work and Lebanon basically told Hochstein where he could stick their deal.
So in what appears to be not only a show of vengefulness, but also pettiness, cruelty and what must amount to a total abuse of international humanitarian law, the US have shut down humanitarian aid to Lebanon from Iraq, threatened any airline trying to help with this with sanctions, and forcing anyone needing aid to be forced through Jordan first, for CIA inspection.
Enforcing a two tier system of aid depending on whether you’re fighting Israel or not to defend yourself and your own nation as Israel try to invade you. That’s where the US is now folks.
Right, so it turns out the US can enforce sanctions, it just won’t do it to Israel of course, the message now being sent by this story is that genocide appears to be fine, but humanitarian aid isn’t and they are committing what can only in my view be seen as a blatant abuse of international humanitarian law by restricting humanitarian aid, in this case specifically medial aid, to people displaced by the Israeli attack on Lebanon.
You have to appreciate that what Lebanon have done is come to the aid of their allies in Gaza, having struck Israel in response to their invasion of the Gaza Strip and the ongoing genocide still continuing there, the focus right now very much on the extermination in the north of Gaza of basically anybody still alive there as very much seems to be the case.
Where the US considers Israel their ally, my goodness do they and the level of integration and lobbying seen at the highest levels of western government administrations by Israel implies a picture of political interference to benefit themselves, but fundamentally all the aid the US has given to Israel is no different, yet now they are throwing their weight around in another country, interference in aid, notably medical aid, so that people engaged in the fighting identified by the likes of the CIA, US intelligence, get picked up if they try to seek medical aid now, by forcing anyone in need of such aid to go to Jordan instead of utilising the air bridge that had been set up with Iraq.
I suppose it’s actually a reflection of how things stand now between the US and Iraq, increasingly unpopular as the US is there now, their presence less and less wanted even though the Iraqi government itself is ostensibly quite westernised now and the US, as I spoke about in a video yesterday, gets a stable supply of oil from there now.
The issue there is that that might not last because of Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an Iranian funded group, a proxy as our media would call them, making threats to that oil supply and indicating Iran may well choke off the Persian Gulf if things escalate further causing an oil crisis in the west.
So there is a strained relationship between Iraq and the US and an air bridge via Middle East Airlines had been established to help get medical aid to those injured not necessarily in fighting, but a million people have been displaced in Lebanon and they may well need medical assistance too.
Now this has only been possible, it has to be said, because Israel have chosen to avoid striking Beirut airport thusfar, the fact the US want these people flown to Jordan might be the reason that has happened, it also demonstrates how accurate Israel can be when they want to be, and when they bomb indiscriminately, it is evidently their choice to do that, but over the last several days certainly, Middle East Airlines have been flying between 32 and 40 planes, according to French outlet Le Monde and that is happening despite all other airlines having cancelled flights because everywhere around the airport is being hit and there’s literally footage of lanes taking off and leaving whilst explosions strike Beirut suburbs all around, it’s commercial planes flying into a warzone and it’s a sentiment shared by the staff member who spoke to Le Monde, who said it felt like they were on a mission, that they had to maintain this air bridge for their compatriots, like they are part of the army fighting for what is right and defending the Lebanese population and passing on a message of solidarity to those people fleeing saying that Middle East Airlines is here for you.
Now this airline, is Lebanon’s flag carrier airline, so the demand that they now cease or face sanctions by the US from flying people to Iraq for safety – the US have already blocked Iraqi airlines planes from getting anywhere near Lebanon just for clarity - does show that the US diplomatic approach to Lebanon is still to have a stick in one hand and try and beat them into submission with it.
Lebanon refused to entertain the notion of surrender to Amos Hochstein, currently only having a caretaker Prime Minister as Presidential elections falter there still, such is the norm in Lebanese politics which I’ve also covered previously, there is a fear of overstepping the mark in one respect to give ground to the US, without the proper remit, but it is also just a bad deal and where Lebanon has acquiesced to the US in the past, the people there know they get shafted each time.
So with talks over, the US is now trying to lean on the airline to stop people being flown out somewhere where they are not in a position to conduct checks on who gets through, they want these flights happening, but the destination should be Jordan, who, despite some tough talk from King Abdullah there, is still seemingly joined to the western hip as far as Israel and US driven atrocity goes.
As for who the US want to filter out? Well it’s Hezbollah obviously and we know that with certainty as if we couldn’t hazard a guess before, because the threat of sanctions against Middle East Airlines is on them if they transport anyone injured in the pager attacks from back in September, victims of a terror attack as they would be, but they are all Hezbollah according to Israel who of course planned and perpetrated that terror attack.
I mean it’s just so completely unnecessary and as well as an abuse of humanitarian law and interference befitting Israel in the delivery of aid.
As The Cradle have pointed out, the US are getting the flight manifests from all flights taking off from Beirut anyway, all the passengers travelling through the airport are being handed to the US by the International Air Transport Association, so a better way of doing this is to demand the planes not carry certain people, or have certain individuals removed from a plane rather than punish entire planeloads of people, but such is the arbitrary and blanket cruelty being enforced by the US administration here. Of course that is still an abuse of humanitarian law, because you’d still be blocking people from getting aid or medical assistance they need, purely on the basis that they are part of a US designated terror group and also happen to oppose Israel invasion of their country and are daring to fight them on that. Regardless of your views of Hezbollah, they are also a political entity, and the only reason they exist is because of previous Israeli invasions of Lebanon in 1978 and 1982, coming into being following the latter attack.
Frankly the US have picked their side, it is painfully obvious. Lebanon at this point would be well within their rights in my view to send the US ambassador to Lebanon packing, especially since by cutting Iraq off from getting into Lebanon, by land they have been the biggest suppliers of humanitarian aid since Israel’s invasion began you might be interested to know, they have caused considerable pain and hardship and for what? Bloody Israel’s benefit again despite what they are doing.
That isn’t to say humanitarian aid isn’t getting through though. To try and end this video on a positive, Turkey has shipped in 1000 tons of aid which arrived at a Beirut port on Friday and just yesterday it was announced that some 30 tons of aid for Lebanon has been raised in France, along with a €100 million financial package raised at an international conference, so despite Israeli diktat against the Lebanese, other nations are not having a bar of it and the aid will get through.
It's just yet another reminder of the never shifting attitude of the end of the Biden administration where Israel is concerned and how rather than ending this genocide and wider war developing in the Middle East, he’s actually done nothing but interfere and keep it going at US taxpayer expense. It’s little wonder the prospect of a second Trump presidency, as daft as that sounds, is such a distinct possibility.
Meanwhile, for more on the prosect of Iraqi oil now getting cut off to the US by Islamic Resistance and Iran, as well as in theory the upset and offence the US may have caused at the level of the Iraqi government by banning flights to Lebanon – could a loss of oil imports be the thing that turns the US against Israel? Check out this video recommendation here as your suggested next watch and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. Cheers folks.
