The Goal Post Episode 47 - Woke Exposed: From Boeing to Trek

Vernon taste tests Coke Zero Oreo (verdict: drink a good amount at once, don't swig it). Robert talks about the Menz conference in New Zealand which he presented the day before.

We address the problem with precluding women's accountability altogether, and that such an attitude can lead to a dead stop for the men's movement, and argue instead that we should argue that women don't but can and must practice accountability.

We talk about Australian self-proclaimed indigenous politician Lidia Thorpe and her making and then backpedaling on statements that are tantamount to her renouncing her qualifications. Robert talks about how Boeing are dropping their DEI stance and how it is but one symptom of how people are moving away from woke.

In the world of entertainment and media, we speak about the deaths of Iron Maiden's first singer Paul Di'Anno and actress Teri Garr (Young Frankenstein, et al). Vernon hopes the new Wallace and Gromit movie is awesome.

We hope you like Star Trek because we rant about it again. We argue that Trek, and what is considered "nerd culture", is infiltrated by cynical hipsters instead of true fans. We talk about what Woke really is can be a form of malicious hipsterism.
