Trump rallies in Gastonia, Greensboro ahead of Election Day

As a young Californian Democrat, I've grown to detest my own party. In an act of rebellion, I voted Trump. I realize I've been gaslit all my life and forced to vote for someone without knowing who or why I'm voting for them. I was taught that voting Democrat is always the best to go. I was also told repeatedly that as a Black man, voting anything else would be a betrayal. Well not anymore. Nothing has changed and my life has only gotten worse these last few years as opposed to 2016 - 2019. I graduated from university and rarely had to worry about money. I think for myself, and people tell me what to do no longer. My chains were not physical, but mental; And the master was my own party. It ends this year.
