This is the greatest Nicolas Cage film ever.
At least in my book.
And I'd love to hear what you've got to say to change my mind!
Con Air, Face/Off, The Rock, Leaving Las Vegas, Wild At Heart, 8MM, hell... I even thought Bankok Dangerous and Drive Angry were decent enough to watch.
For real though, I enjoy most of Cage's films.
But in 2018 Panos Cosmato's Mandy came out of nowhere
and brought Cage back, better than ever before.
It really felt like this movie was made for me.
It's almost Halloween now, so it was the perfect time to watch this movie again -
and I can tell you, this film gets better everytime I see it and that being said,
I already loved it the first time!
To this day I cannot really decide what genre this is exactly,
but I'd go with a dark fantasy horror thriller with a touch of drama
and just an ounce of comedy.
It feels like a gritty arthouse film.
I've actually rated this with a 10/10 on IMDB in 2018
and I still hold on to that rating.
For me... THIS is the GREATEST NICOLAS CAGE film EVER.
Change my mind (please).
