Who Framed Roger Rabbit director, Robert Zemeckis, said in a recent interview that Disney refuses to make a sequel despite a script being ready because of Jessica Rabbit.

The famed director said when he made the original movie he was not trying to make a kid’s movie, but instead trying to do what he believes Walt Disney would have done by making a movie for adults that kids also enjoy. However, since the movie came out in 1988 things within the entertainment industry has changed to the point where Disney would not be willing to make a movie with a female character such as Jessica Rabbit.
