A continuation of my ongoing Christmas Countdown of Crafts Series and inspired by a photo I saw on Pinterest, make this adorable Gingerbread Man & Woman Couple following these easy steps!

TOOLS NEEDED:

Miter or any type of saw

OPTIONAL TOOLS USED:

Planer, palm sander, hot glue gun, brush, square, tape measure

CUT LIST:

Gingerbread Man:
28" high
Eyes at 5 1/8" down from the top of the head to the top of the rhinestone
Cheeks at 7 1/2" down from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Grin at 8 3/4" down from the top of the head to the top center of smile
Bow at 11" down from the top of the head to the top of the bow
First button down 14 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Second button down 16 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Third button down 18 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle

Gingerbread Woman:

26" high
Bow at top left when looking at the gingerbread woman
Eyes at 5 1/8" down from the top of the head to the top of the rhinestone
Cheeks at 7 1/2" down from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Grin at 8 3/4" down from the top of the head to the top center of smile
First button down 10 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Second button down 12 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Third button down 14 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle
Fourth button 16 5/8" from the top of the head to the top of the circle

SUPPLIES:

Wood planks measuring at least 5 1/2" wide by 5/8" thick by a minimum of 58" long
Rustoleum Warm Caramel spray paint
Black spray paint
Acrylic paint pens in white
Pink craft paint
Red, black and green Sharpies
4 round rhinestones measuring 1" in diameter
Dowel or curtain rod measuring 1 1/2" in diameter OR pre cut circles from a craft store
I cut 13 of them at 1/8" thickness, you will only need 11
Ric Rac card stock as a template, trace at 2" down from the top and 2" up from the bottom
Rounded plate to trace the grin
Circle template to aid in drawing the peppermint candy
Bows, ribbons, garland or other embellishments
Wood glue, hot glue
