Conspiracy theories sound off after US network ABC mistakenly airs election results

Conspiracy theories have sounded off after an ABC news in the US affiliate broadcast mistakenly displayed what appeared to be official election results more than a week before election day.

ABC local affiliate WNEP-TV had a little grab during their coverage of the Mexico Grand Prix on Sunday revealing Kamala had won Pennsylvania.

It showed the Vice President had received 52 per cent of the votes, compared to 47 per cent for Republican challenger Donald Trump.
