Adrienette of Season 5

After making a huge mistake because her love for Adrien, Marinette swore off Adrien in order to focus better. Unfortunately though, at the same time, Adrien fell in love with Marinette and later realized that he had been in love with her ever since their visit to the Grevin Museum. Eventually, after having a heavy burden lifted off her temporarily, she decided to allow herself to once again be a normal girl who can fall in love and allowed herself to be with Adrien. However, there was a problem as Marinette found herself unable to express her love for Adrien despite knowing that Adrien liked him back. This would be revealed to be due to a past trauma involving being humiliated by a previous crush which they worked through together. However, one obstacle still remained in their path: the disapproval of Adrien's father who attempted to prevent his son from being with Marinette by sending him away.
