Bounce A Jiggles Wiggles

The main rhythm of the song was written about 15 years'ish ago.

The main rhythm was originally called Weed Wacker and was written after helping a buddy weed wack a mess of over grown weeds in a drainage trench and helping weed wack a whole trailer park.

The name was changed to Bounce A Jiggle Wiggles after coming up with and writing the lyrics.

All guitar parts were recorded using a 2003 Gibson Melody Maker with a single P90 pickup.
That twang, thwop, etc is from the pickup/guitar itself, although the short little riff over the "you know what I'm talking about" section does have a bit of vibrato on it.

I tweaked the original video a little and also fixed a quick flash that was caused when the original video was exported from the video software I use. The original video can be seen at • Video

In this song we mention Bobby Newhart. Both the wife and I are big fans of Bob Newhart. We were sad to hear about his passing, July 18, 2024, only days after doing a video for this song.
