Godzilla Minus One Getting a Sequel | Director Takashi Yamazaki Returning

It has been announced Toho will be producing another Godzilla movie directed by Godzilla Minus One director Takashi Yamazaki.

Yamazaki has previously said if he does a sequel to Godzilla Minus One he would want to include another monster in it, although he never stated which monster he would prefer Godzilla to go up against. There are also no details at this time what the plans are for the movie, but many are excited about the prospects considering how successful the previous film was. Making $115 million globally on a $15 million budget. Not only that the movie won the Oscar for best visual effects, beating out Hollywood productions with 10x the budget. The success of Godzilla Minus One is an example of how competent filmmaking is better than just throwing money at the screen.
