I love history and I love fitness!!!! Earle Liederman who around the time of physical culture stated that it was better to get satisfaction from the training session as well as it improving one's vibrancy.

“If after you exercise, your bath and your rub-down, you feel fit to battle for a kingdom, then your schedule is right. ” (p 150 Liedeman, Secrets of Strength)

Now that I'm older I better understand some of these physical culture writings. I think they were unto something. Additionally, Mr. Liederman believed training the muscles around the mid-section improved one's digestion!!!!
