Mocked and beaten, Jesus is adorned with a crown of thorns and led away to Golgotha. As He is crucified, the sky darkens, and the earth trembles, signifying the gravity of this event. People witness His final breath, and a Roman centurion recognizes Him as the Son of God, even as the temple veil is torn in two, symbolizing the new covenant between God and humanity.
