Making Cheesy Onion Bread step by step
This gooey, crispy bread is even more heavenly dipped in marinara sauce.

INGREDIENTS

Crusty loaf/loaves
Shredded Cheese, Monterey Jack & Sharp Cheddar
Chopped Garlic
Chopped Green Onion
Melted Butter

Chimuchurri-Style Sauce:
Finely chopped garlic and parsley
Avocado Oil (or Olive Oil)
Salt

Prepare the Chimichurri-Style Sauce in advance.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven to 350F/180C.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cheese, chopped garlic, chopped green onion, melted butter, and chimichurri-style sauce.
3. Cut the top part of the bread in a diagonal to form diamonds or criss-crossed to form squares.
4. Gently stuff the cheese mixture into the bread, between slices.
5. Wrap in foil or place in a baking pan and cover with foil.
6. Bake for 15 minutes, covered.
7. Unwrap/uncover the top and bake/broil for a few more minutes until cheese is completely melted and the top is crispy.
8. Serve immediately.
