God's Covenant with God

The Old Testament is based on a Covenant between God and a man of faith named Abraham. The New Testament is based on the New Covenant between God and Jesus – who is also a man of faith. But He is also God. The New Covenant therefore is a covenant between The LORD God [the Father] and The LORD God [the Son]. It is God's Covenant with God. The Jews were a people in Covenant with God through Abraham. Christians are a people in a Covenant with God through Jesus. Just like father Abraham, we get in on the Blessing and benefits of this Covenant, not by working to earn – but by faith to receive . .
