Mr Carlson made the remarks during a Trump campaign rally at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

He argued Harris is a symbol of a corrupt system, attaining her nomination without "a single vote".

"No fair system would elevate someone like Kamala Harris to a presidential nomination.

"She has precisely no achievements, she's the nominee without getting a single vote.

"Kamala is a metaphor for the system they created to make themselves rich and powerful."
