*NEW* Character Inbound: Baylan Skoll | Kit Reveal | Demi-GL Here?? What's Going On??

Hopefully you checked out the Developers Insights so that you already have an idea about Baylan Skoll coming to the game soon. He will be a leader tank for the Mercenary faction, with strong synergies between Marrok and Shin Hati (3v3 GA?).

His kit is kind of ridiculous. First, he has triple omicrons, which is a Conquest character feature. Conquest characters are supposed to be light GL's, so putting a legendary character at that same status kind of reduces the significance of a conquest character.

Second, his kit seems to rival GL's, especially his leader ability. His leader ability is a book and a half long, and when compared to GL's, it's longer than some! It's kind of crazy that much thought and detail went more into a legendary character than a GL, which is SUPPOSED to be the highest order character in this game.

I don't know, as the years go on, CG just gets greedier and greedier and the game suffers more and more.

Oh ya, and let's not forget that he has a unique datacron that is ONLY available if you unlock him during his initial release. So in other words: as long as you're a whale or Kraken, you're good. Everyone else, F You.
