Dragon Age: The Veilguard is Accused of Getting Fake Reviews

Since the review embargo has been lifted, the new Bioware game Dragon Age: The Veilguard has been getting a bunch of positive reviews; however, some think the reviews are suspicious.

Prior to the release of the game many streamers who had been previously critical of the game were denied review codes for it. One streamer claimed she was able to get ahold of a review code after telling Bioware she’s non-binary. She then proceeded to bash the game for its heavy-handed identity politics. With the abundance of positive reviews coming from media outlets many think these are games journalists giving out positive scores for something in return.
