As always when buying from AliExpress be sure to shop around first as this item, as with so many others on that Chinese mega trading site, is widely available from a range of suppliers and at a range of prices, which change and fluctuate wildly.
The warming pad is available in ten different sizes between 14x15cm to 80x28cm and I selected the 53x28cm model rated at a 28w power consumption. I paid just £9.00 including tax and shipping. I received just the warming pad itself with no instructions or paperwork other than the brief information included on the packaging and you will need to consult the AliExpress product page for the specifications. The items comes with a hard wired EU two prong plug and so you will need to use an adapter with it.
The pad is described as being designed to warm fish or reptile tanks but of course, it can also be used in the greenhouse use to keep seedling trays warm, which is what I wanted it for.
It is made from 4mm clear flexible plastic with a heating matrix laminated inside. It has a hard wired 150cm cable with a 2 pin EU plug on the end. It has a large built-in backlit control panel offering 10 heating levels and a power on/off switch and defaults to level 6 when turned on. Be aware that there is no integral timer or temperature selectable thermostat, it just turns on and heats up at the selected level until switched off. We are not told the specific temperatures for each level but apparently, this ranges between 0-53℃. The pad can be rolled up (not too tightly) but not folded as that would cause the element inside to break. The pad (but not the control panel) is water resistant but not waterproof, so do not immerse it in water.
It seems pretty well made and robust provided care is taken not to fold the pad. It is simple and easy to use, just remember to switch it off at the appropriate time, although you could use a timer plug with that to automate the process.
That really is all there is to it. This is a simple item that has one job to do and does it well with a minimum of fuss and bother. All for less than £10 too.
