Hawkeye Wildlife Shooting Range in Coralville, IA south of Swisher, IA
It was around 80° with a strong south wind directly from my back. It kept blowing my target over.
At one point I had a round partially in the loading gate and racked the lever. That jammed the lift gate.
Don’t do that.
Also, when I dropped a round, the muzzle did swing toward the front of the bench next to me. I should have set the gun down to pick up the round.
That was right after I almost loaded an empty case.
I was sighting in the Skinner sight. It was always high. It may work better with the front sight he also sells with it, I think it needs a higher front sight. As I like the Guide Gun front hooded sight, I think I will live with it and just aim low.
Also, with the peep sight, I did get a mirage off of the suppression when it got warm.
