Welcome to another inspiring episode of Coffee with Jesus! In today’s message, "Arise and Shine," hosts Bill and Brian are diving into the power of embracing God’s call to step out of mediocrity and rise into the extraordinary life of faith He’s designed for us. This isn’t just another day at church; this is about stirring our spirits to action and building a strong foundation on Jesus, the Rock, so that we stand firm in every season of life.

God is showing us the next step up and it something we don't want to miss.

In our walk with God, we’re often tempted to stay comfortable, thinking, “I go to church, I’m doing okay.” But as followers of Christ, we’re called to more than just “okay.” Zechariah 4:6 reminds us, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts." That’s the key! When we build our lives on the solid foundation of His Word, we’re able to endure life’s trials without faltering. And just like a good coach challenges a team to push past limitations, God is calling us to go higher, to step into greatness.

Bill and Brian discuss how growth often means stepping out of the “ordinary” and leaving comfort zones behind. They’ll encourage you to be mindful of where you are in your walk—are you moving forward, staying the same, or falling back? Building our faith is like planting a seed: we water it, nurture it, and eventually, it grows into something deeply rooted and immovable. And as we do, God’s promise to be with us every step of the way assures us that we’re equipped to fight the good fight of faith.

Today, they’ll dig into powerful Scriptures like Matthew 7:24-27, where Jesus teaches that those who build on His foundation will stand when life’s storms come. Bill and Brian also challenge us to let go of mediocrity and live with the expectation of God’s greatness at work within us. God wants us to rise, not in our own strength but in His, and as we do, we’re equipped to move up, one step at a time, becoming more like Jesus and fulfilling His purpose.

We’re here to be a light in a dark world, not just to sit comfortably. So ask yourself, is there enough evidence in your life to show that you’re a follower of Christ? Are you content, or are you pressing on toward what God has for you?

Join us as we dig into God’s Word, sharing insights on building a life that glorifies Him, challenges comfort zones, and embraces the call to greatness. This is a message you won’t want to miss—don’t settle for ordinary when God is calling you to rise! Make sure to subscribe, hit that notification bell, and let’s embark on this journey together.
