Estate Gate in Acton, CA with One Mile of Wrought-Iron Fence!

This was one of the largest jobs we've done to date.

The enormous front gate to this large estate in Acton, California was designed to fit right in with the ranch-style properties of the area.

The steel-framed gate was clad with a rough redwood and decorated with custom-made ornamental steel accents to give it a full Western country appeal.

The huge, round knockers were custom made.

The dark brown stain helped to give it both a rustic feel as well as elevate the look while simultaneously muting the imperfections of the grade of wood.

These two giant front gate doors are controlled by a pair of Liftmaster operators, bringing the 19th-century look well into the 21st century for features.

We added a gooseneck call box for delivery or guest access as well.

Flanked on both sides of this front gate centerpiece are the cement columns with wrought-iron style fence covering the span between the columns.

Each panel was custom fabricated to fit specifically between each column along the entire span of the fence line.

Not only was each section custom made for each column span, but elevation changes in the terrain along the nearly mile-long fence line meant each custom section also had to be made accounting for the slope.

This combination of wood, ornamental steel accents, and wrought-iron style fence panels in conjunction with the cement columns and white stucco fully bring the look and feel of this estate into the Western countryside perfectly at home in Acton.

With horse ranches and other farmhouse flats in the area, the architectural design choices for this project accentuated the desired outcome rather than held it back like it can on modern properties in Los Angeles.
