Daily Bible Reading and Devotional: 102 days of Reading through Luke and Acts 10-16-2024

Thank you for watching, today’s reading for Wednesday October 16, 2024 from Acts 11:19-12:19. We are on day 75 of our 102 days reading through Luke and Acts. Today’s reading sees widespread proclaiming of the gospel. Not only to Jews but now to Gentiles! Antioch becomes the center of church activity as brethren prepare to help the saints in Jerusalem with a coming famine. Herod Agrippa I steps up the persecution of the church by executing James and throwing Peter into prison. Peter is not in very long before an angel springs him from his cell.
