Sentenced for treason | FSB ruins IT specialist's dream of becoming American spy

A Moscow court has convicted a dual-citizen IT specialist of treason, sentencing him to 13.5 years in prison and imposing a ₽300,000 (about $3,000) fine. The court found that the wannabe spy had gained access to Russia's state secrets and planned to sell them to the CIA. He was caught red-handed in October 2022 while attempting to hand over the classified information.
