Retired Salt Lake County Sheriff's Deputy/UPD officer explains how six months has passed since the Utah HB 84 went into law effective May 1, 2024. The law REQUIRES ALL Public K-12 schools to have either a School resource Officer, An Armed Security Guard, OR a volunteer school guardian that is an existing school employee and NOT a teacher or principal unless your school has less than 100 students!
