Akita vs Doberman Pinscher! A flirtatious encounter between a stoic male American Akita and a persistent and clever female Doberman Pinscher.

Kinjo the Akita has never been an easy dog for another dog to meet. He doesn't act aggressively at the sight of dogs, but he has a tendency to growl and act dominant towards dogs that get within a couple of feet of him. He will ignore most dogs - other than keeping an eye on them - up until they get very close. Then he tends to bring out the dominant behavior.

Very few dogs are able to approach him without this happening, and Ruby the Doberman is one that cleverly manages it. Watch her body language and communication. She knows exactly who she is dealing with and what she has to do to get him to stay chill.

I believe she got called back home, so this was all I was able to capture. A beautiful display of an intelligent and clever Doberman easing the standoffish Akita along their greeting.
