CREW-8 ASTRONAUTS UNDOCK FROM THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

NASA astronauts Matt Dominick, Mike Barratt, Jeanette Epps, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin undocked from the zenith port of the International Space Station’s Harmony module on October 23 ahead of their return to Earth for a parachute-assisted splashdown off the coast of Florida Oct. 25. Crew-8 was completing a seven month mission living and working aboard the microgravity laboratory to advance scientific knowledge and demonstrate new technologies for future human and robotic exploration flights as part of NASA’s Moon and Mars exploration approach, including lunar missions through NASA’s Artemis program.
