ON THIS DAY - October 28th 2022- The Paul Pelosi Hammer Attack

In October of 2022, an intruder broke into the San Francisco home of then-U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, targeting her husband, Paul in a violent attack. The assailant, armed with a hammer, reportedly confronted Pelosi, demanding to know the whereabouts of his wife who was away in Washington, D.C., at the time of the break-in. The intruder assaulted 82-year-old Paul, leaving him with severe injuries that required extensive medical attention, including skull surgery.
