Is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (Sega CD) Just Like The Movie?

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein from 1994 by Kenneth Branagh was a spiritual successor to Bram Stoker's Dracula from 1992. The movie was not as well received as Dracula. It turns out they both were turned into Sega CD games. I already covered the Dracula one so now it's Frankenstein's turn. Is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for Sega CD just like the movie?
