Mashed Potatoes For The Freezer

I prepare #mashedpotatoes , as part of my early #prep work , for #thanskgiving . This is exactly how I prepare, then freeze, using #foodsaver #freezer bags. I #defrost , in the #refrigerator 2 days before thanksgiving. To prepare: place in #crockpot , with lid ajar. I stick a wooden spoon under the lid. This will keep the potatoes from scorching. You can reheat in the #microwave , as well. Stir occasionally. Add mixins: #butter , seasonings, #cream , #sourcream , etc. They come out perfect every time! You’ll be glad you weren’t boiling #potatoes on thanksgiving day.
