Russia-Ukraine conflict: At least 5 killed in Russian drone and missile strikes, local officials say

A Russian drone struck a multi-storey residential building in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Friday evening, triggering a fire in the top floors and killing one person and injuring five, officials said.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said a teenage girl had died. Two of the five injured was being treated in hospital and a first aid tent was set up at the site.

And a Russian missile attack hit residences and a medical facility in the central Ukrainian city of Dnipro on Friday evening, killing four people and injuring at least 20, Ukraine’s Emergency Service said in a statement.
