Al's Beta300 Birthday single track ride with YZ250X and the various colors of KTM's.

We started with 8 and ended with 5 for Al's birthday ride. The morning started nice and cool but summer is trying to hang on, it was about 94 when we got off the single track. The world's luckiest ground squirrel is at about minute 5:08. They are super cute but they try to out run you down the trail half the time instead of just running off through the desert, I'm glad I missed him. It's time for a new rear tire on the YZ250X, I've put about 300 miles on the Tusk Recon that's on the rear and the center knobs are getting pretty short. We took a Canadian out for his first Al and Monkeybutt adventure on his Husqvarna 300 and he loved it. My wife was along for part of the ride on her KX250, she got her money's worth, lol, she did good through some tough sections of trail and gained some good experience. We ended up with something like 41 miles and everyone was ready to be done by the end due to the heat.
