JESUS SAID, “IT IS FINISHED” – BUT, WHAT WAS HE TALKING ABOUT?

Welcome, come on in. We are going to be taking a short break in our series about “Why Songs Are Better Than Sermons”. We’ll return to that series soon.

Today I want to talk with you about something that at first may seem like it would be more appropriate to share right before Easter, or “Resurrection Sunday”, as it is called in our Church, but I want you to really start thinking about it ahead of time.

I want to give you some background understanding and foundational truths that you might never have heard before, or, have heard but never really connected the dots completely.

What did Jesus mean when He said, “It is finished!” when He was on the cross? What were you told that it meant?

I hope that this hard message will either encourage you to press in even harder and closer with your walk with the Lord …

Or that it will bring conviction upon you that leads you to change your ways and to seek the Son while there is still time!
