Man Suffers Major Injuries After Being Hit by Truck

On October 26, 2024, at approximately 9:36 PM, San Diego Police & Fire responded to a traffic accident at Sea World Dr & Friars Rd. Upon arrival, they encountered an approximately 45 yr old man who had been hit by a truck. He was transported to a local trauma hospital suffering major injuries per SDPD. The driver of the truck stayed on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. DUI is not considered a factor at this time. SDPD is investigating.
