How To Use Pain In A Spiritual War

I no longer use opioids.
Paid hell AND the devil to get off of OxyContin, Oxycodone, fentanyl patches and everything in between.
No thanks.

We live and breathe in pain and suffering(s); why not use those feelings of pain to carry a burden (you choose) with deep groanings to God.

Capture those groans of pain and sighs of frustration.
As your prayer is punctuated with groans, whimpers, sharp breaths with cramps and deep grumblings of silent pain.

It is in the groans and sighs which is the frequency with which the Spirit chimes in with us.
To carry the timbre of our prayers to the very throne of the Father.

The wail of a mother bereft of her children.
Use those, your sounds of pain near to a deep seated, a solar plexus ache, to cry out to God.

Cry out, for a need that needs to be fulfilled, but within yourself, you have absolutely no power to fulfill that need, in and of your own strength.

This is where God delights to answer “we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,”

While we live in this realm this is our ‘lot in life’. This is a great secret. Making even pain a sacrament.
