124 killed as Sudanese paramilitary group attacks village, doctors and activists say

At least 124 people were killed in a Sudanese village near Khartoum during an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), making it one of the deadliest events in Sudan’s ongoing civil war.

The RSF and Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have been in conflict since April 2022, with both sides accused of civilian casualties.

Over 200 were injured, and 150 detained in the Al-Sareeha village attack, with the RSF reportedly seizing communication devices and forcing villagers to flee, CNN has reported.
