Let's Play Visions of Mana [23]

Continuing off from the previous episode, we explore the upper city of Illystana. It's clearly home to the rich and nobility with large villas and the Sanctorium. We are prohibited entry to the Palace, because apparently only the alms are allowed to stay in the palace, and the Sour Guard needs to stay at an inn in the lower city.

Val and Hinna have another wonderful moment together in the marketplace, and Morley correctly guesses that the mysterious stranger is in fact Queen Palamena. As night falls, we head to the Sanctorium for the blessing, but we save that for the next episode.

Visions of Mana is the latest game in the Seiken Densetsu, or Mana franchise. Famous for such games like Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3 (Trials of Mana). This is also the first mainline game in the franchise since Dawn of Mana in 2006. Like much of the Mana series, this is an Action RPG, and it uses the series famous Ring Menu.
