I felt I needed to post these two PSA's, but I shot them as one video.

First, I have been publishing the song service videos two weeks after recording them. It wasn't always this way, and I have wanted to catch them up to be published no later than one week post-recording. Well, now that will be happening. I was absent from service October 20, 2024 due to a viral outbreak. Some symptoms linger but have improved, while others are more persistent. For that reason, I am also not recording a service for October 27, 2024. When I am available to record the next service, however, I will schedule it to publish the following Sunday, so that you only wait one week for the next video. I like that timing much better, and I think you will, too.

Second, it's election season, and Election Day is coming up fast1 Many elections have been described as the "most important" one of our times, but there are many, myself included, who think this description is not just hyperbole this time. For me, this quit being about Right versus Left a long time ago; now it's about right versus wrong, and that's understating it, I think. We are voting for more than just candidates and opinions. This is about a way of life, and ours is hanging in the balance. If you are Saved, understand basic principles of righteousness, and want our children to be free to walk those out in a land governed by sound principles that will promote the maximum good to the majority of citizens, legal residents, and visitors who appreciate what this country has to offer and desire to see it preserved, then turn out for this election and vote.

I mentioned a website that I use regularly when researching candidates and deciding for whom to vote. Ballotpedia is a comprehensive website that does a thorough job of bringing current info on all the candidates on your ballot, from the President down to the local dog catcher, if that is a votable position in your area. You can create your sample ballot and use it as a cheat sheet when you go to the polls. And because they do so much to make candidate info easy to access, you can learn spend more time learning in a way that doesn't make you hate the process. Check them out here!
