Hey everyone!

In this episode of my ‘Hidden Gem’ series, we’re diving into three more fascinating spots in Sofia.

First, we’ll wander through the Covered Market Halite, a historical landmark that reopened just 6 months ago after two years of reconstruction. Here, you can find fresh produce or stop to have a coffee or a bite.

Next, we’ll check out the Banya Bashi Mosque. It’s a beautiful old building from the Ottoman times with an impressive dome and lots of history. It’s located in Sofia’s Square of Religious Tolerance, where different religions coexist peacefully together.

Finally, we’ll savour traditional Bulgarian cuisine at Manastirska Magernitsa Restaurant, where you can immerse yourself in an authentic and charming atmosphere. What sets this restaurant apart is its special menu section featuring monastic meals, cooked according to recipes taken from different monasteries.
