Yuma was a 1971 US Western film for television. The movie was directed by Ted Post and starred Clint Walker. The film began as a television pilot that appeared on the ABC Movie of the Week. Dave Harmon (played by Clint Walker), was a former lieutenant in the U.S. Army and is sent to Yuma as the new U.S. Marshal. Harmon's wife was raped, and his son was killed. The only description of the criminals responsible was that they were wearing army uniforms. Harmon subsequently became a Marshal, and he has taken positions near army posts to conduct his personal investigation. Yuma is a city with an army post
