Bucket Nesting Boxes

Bucket Nesting Boxes is my project for today. With almost 40 laying hens at the age to start production, I needed more space for them to lay. I need something inexpensive and quick, Ta Da, bucket nesting box.
With scrap lumber and 4 new buckets I was able to build the 4 boxes for under $16.00.
So what was the plan? I had no idea, just 4 buckets. I found a part of a pipe crate that had in the barn and when from there. I was blessed that the crate part was a perfect fit for 4 buckets. So a made a copy of it from scrap lumber and put the two pieces to gather with some 11" lathing. Made a dividers to separate the buckets and I had my new bucket nesting box.
