Important note... Keep a close eye on House and Senate winners for US Congress when polls close on November 5, 2024.

ALL 435 House representatives run for election every 2 years

1/3 of 100 Senators run for reelection / election every 2 years

In the current 118th Congress, a breakdown by party and by chamber:

House: 220 Republicans, 212 Democrats and 3 vacancies

Senate: 47 Democrats, 49 Republicans and 4 Independents

33 of 100 senators are up for election:

- 4 Independents
- 19 Democrats
- 10 Republicans

So, if more Republicans in both chambers win their elections on Election Day, the new 119th Congress could vote not to certify and send state electoral votes back to States if election results are questionable. The new Congress begins on January 3, 2025, at 12 noon.

10/27/24 Update:

Sending electoral votes back to States has never been done in the past. It could happen IF Congress fails to do what's required by the 12th amendment. It's likely the issue would be resolved in Congress, however long it takes to finish the process, per the 12th Amendment. It could take weeks, if not days.

Very sticky situation and very unpredictable. Chaos are brewing... right now, already.

Our constitution is very much at stake, right now.
